#35 - How to Make a New Moon Vision Board
Today is Oct. 2nd and we're experiencing a new moon and a solar eclipse!
In this episode I'm going to share my personal method for creating a New Moon Vision Board!
Research shows that visualizing your goals increases motivation and improves your chances of achieving them.
There’s a center in the brain called the RAS that helps focus attention. When you consistently see images related to your goals, the RAS prioritizes this information, making you more aware of opportunities and resources related to your aspirations.
These images literally engage your subconscious mind, helping you to attract opportunities that align with your desires.
So a vision board can be a powerful tool to help actualize and accelerate progress towards your goals.
Here are the journal prompts I followed in my own practice:
- What can I forgive or let go of this new moon?
- What goals do I want to achieve over the next month? Be specific.
- How do I want to feel in the process of achieving that goal [in my business? in my relationship? in my body? (Think about emotions like joy, empowerment, or creativity.)
- What habits or practices do I want to cultivate to support that goal?
- What affirmations can I choose to support these goals?
- What tools or resources do I have to support this goal?
